Essay Unit 3

scuba-diving

When I was 14 I went to Australia with my family for the first time. The adventure started when I met my instructor David, a young man that has been doing scuba-diving since he was 14.

First, David showed me the equipment and explained to me what to do. Next, we hopped into a boat that took us away from the shore. Shortly after, it was time to jump, at first I was very afraid but the instructor told me that I should only think about enjoying the scenery. Then I started to dive and it was very exciting, we went down a lot os metres and there many different types of spectacular fish.

It was totally awesome. In fact, I am going to ask my parents if I can book another session because it was very unforgettable.

Essay Unit 3

social media
Nowadays, social networks are very present because thanks to them we can see what is happening in the world or chat with friends. They have many advantages but they also have some drawbacks.
On the one hand, you can know what´s happening in your country at that time, you can chare photos with your friends or you can chat with them, also you can keep in touch with e-mail friends via twitter or facebook.
On the other hand, you have to be careful with the things that you upload to social networks as anyone can see them and they can blackmail you. Also you can receive bullying, or they can try to deceive you with a false identify.
In conclussion, social media has many positive things that can help you daily, but they also have dangerous things, so we have to be careful when we use social networks.
